Warehouse management - system adds 000 to license plate number sequence

Hi,

Has anyone experienced system generated license plate numbers with additional digits. My number sequence setup for LP's has 9 digits however the system autogenerates an LP with additional 000 in front of the sequence. This is happening when receiving PO's or reporting production as finished. Saw a thread for a similar issue for a feature called number sequence extension but cannot find it.

Appreciate any help

Hi xavier,

Please check MS document:

docs.microsoft.com/.../configure-number-sequence-extensions

You will see a new column for number sequence extension in the number sequence screen from Warehouse management parameters if you enable the "Number sequence extension" feature , and then you can define a new sequence there.
