QR code scanning app to capture check-ins

Hi,

Hoping someone has some experience with any available Apps that can be downloaded and used at in person events, to scan the personalised QR codes generated in Dynamics Customer Insights - Journeys? Upon scanning the QR code, it should then automatically check in that registrant in Customer Insights - Journeys.

I've had a read through of most of the Microsoft Documentation regarding this, but it seems to be more aimed at the generation of the QR code itself rather than the scanning of it. This note also confused me - surely people aren't building apps themselves to manage this?

Thanks for any guidance you can provide.

Hi,

You can implement this through the Dynamics 365 Power Apps mobile app.
Find the Customer Insights-Journeys app in the Dynamics 365 Power Apps mobile app, go to Event,Add New Check-In.
The Registration ID field includes a scan button that allows the user to take a photo of the attendee's QR code, and when the camera recognizes the QR code, the Check-In fields are automatically populated with attendee details.

This should hopefully help too. Shows how to actually send out the QR Codes dynamically, and then use them to check the person in.
