Field Service Dynamics365 Scheduling Multiple resources for Work Order

Hi Guys, 

I have been looking at field service today and evaluating its benefits over the standard out the box service schedule engine available since CRM 2011. 

Overall this looks pretty cool, however, I am struggling to setup a work order which requires multiple resources e.g. it wont let me schedule it until both resource are chosen. 

On a work order I can create multiple resource requirements with different skills/characteristics but I cannot say I need both resources to schedule the service. 

I guess I am wanting to do somehting similar to the standard service scheduling where I can say I need one resource from this group and one resource from here to schedule the service. 

Documentation around this seems quite scarce so any help or pointers would be great.

    Hi Antbutcher,

    We schedule multiple resources by just creating 2 Bookable Resource Bookings to 1 Work Order and applying the same Date Time to both. This in turn will add the Work Order to both Resources Calendar and they should go arrive at the job at the same time.

    Unless there is something more advanced you are looking for then feel free to explain the requirement in more detail.

    Hi,

    Tenfold just recently added MS office 365 to their integrations list. Tenfold offers features such as click to dial, automatic call logging, easy note taking and task creation, screen pops on inbound and outbound calls, new lead/contact creation when no matching records, support for cases/opportunities and advanced analytics on the backend.
