How to implement record level security for 'Connection Roles' in Dynamics 365?

Hi, I'm checking if there is any option to let a particular 'team/user' to append one 'connection role'. I don't want any other user to append that role while creating a connection.
Is that possible? I thought of giving user level privilege for the security role for 'Connection Role' entity, but system is allowing either 'none' or 'organisation' level.
