Cannot edit a record in Accounting Event error when posting Travel Expenses

Hey Guys,

When one of our users is trying to post travel expenses for a couple projects they are receiving this error.

Cannot edit a record in Accounting event (AccountingEvent). Even Type: None. Deadlock, where one or more users have simultaneously locked the whole table or part of it.

Any guidance would be great.

Hello AXGeek33,

Do you regularly experience this issue or is this the first time / day you see this happening?

Have the users tried restarting their AX session already?

Can you also let us know whether you are on the latest AX2012 R3 version?

For older versions there were similar issues reported that were, however, fixed with the latest hotfixes.
