2015: View Opportunity Product Inline Edit View

View Opportunity Product Inline Edit View this is a not Customizable View.

How do I add extra columns to be displayed but retain the inline editing feature?

We have done a "Save As" on this view - this produces the extra columns to be visible however we cannot inline edit - it is a separate screen toggle backwards and forwards

Any suggestions/tips would be great.

    Hi,

This is by design, unfortunately at this point you can't do this, as soon as you will customize this view inline editing feature will go.

    Thanks.

    Hi HIMBAP,

Thank you for responding. Disappointing that this new feature doesn't have it all.

    Thanks Leisha

Hi everyone, I have similar problem as Leisha mentioned above.

Ideally, I would like to add new filed called "status" into the product inline view, so when our sales managers add products items in the opportunity; they can then make record of own or lost status for each individual product. For example, one of our manager add 10 different products into the product items inline edit view, after he knows our clients only want to order 3 products from the total quoted 10 products ;he wants to mark those 3 products' status as won and other 7 as lost, so in the end of the season, he can check straight away what products ' demand is higher than others and what is the reasons for those not popular products; is it because of the price or quality...etc.

Is anyone know how to get the result I want? Please!

This is a pain, how do we lobby MS to change this?

I recommend this grid - fully customizable, and you get one free grid :)
