Hi ,

I am not able to restore database from store operation manager. Error occured- Back up failed!

This is happening in SQL 2012 environment

RMS version:CU5

you cannot restore from store manager , you need to restore from store administrator.

I first would think that you are trying to restore your backup to a different database version. Make sure they are the same build version. Or if you had done updates to RMS after the backup file was created you will need to uninstall those updates.
