Is it possible to log in as OOTB demo users to test config?

I have seen the follow MS blogpost about using the OOTB demo users to test config in an environment, but this seems to only apply to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations/Dynamics AX: https://cloudblogs.microsoft.com/dynamics365/no-audience/2016/03/17/how-do-i-login-to-the-new-ax-as-a-demo-user-persona/

Is it possible to do something similar to log in as demo users for testing the config in other distributions of Dynamics 365? This is an incredibly important ability, but I can't seem to find anything on it!

You can use sample data for Dynamics 365 following the link https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/add-remove-sample-data

Hi Akash, the environment I'm using already has sample data in it, but I'm asking if it's possible to log in as one of the sample data's users in order to view the application from the perspective of a regular user (and not an Admin user, as I am). Do you know if this is possible?

Hi Partner,

From office 365 admin portal you can either create new user and login with that user and use the CRM

Does this require additional licences? Since this is just a test user for use in our Dev environment, we'd rather not have a fully licenced user costing money unnecessarily for something which most other CRMs can facilitate in a straightforward way.
