Blanket Order to Back Order Failing without Errors

Hello everyone,

I am have a very particular issue where a line item on a blanket order can not transfer to a back order. When I attempt to transfer, the preview button displays the proper quantity and everything. However, when the SOP Transfer Log comes up, it tells me that zero errors occurred and zero documents have transferred. This particular Blanket order seems to be missing a master number as well.

Any assistance provided would be much appreciated.

It was number three that was the cause of the issue. I did not think of this and greatly appreciate your help Soma!

You need to check couple of things in GP.

    1. Open Sales Order Processing Setup window and choose appropriate document ID and check whether the Transfer Orders to Back Orders option is marked.

    2. Open inventory items which is included from your orders in Inventory maintenance window and click option button to see whether the Allow Back Orders option is marked.

    3. Open your documents in SOP window and click the blue arrow button near the SOP number field to see whether the Type ID is available under the section of Transfer Back Orders.

    Hope this helps!!!
