I am new to this group and GP:

I work for a larger company that has GP in a Citrix environment and today they got multiple errors when people started logging in:

Unable to open dictionary/ servername/ /reportsandForms/R2386.dic

Cannot accesss this form because the dictionary containing it is not loaded

error registering table [not found]

Unable to open dictionary/ servername/ /reportsandForms/1024rpts.dic

cross dictionary trigger on failed

focus trigger asi_background_explorer_form registration failed

unexpected error was encounter to register a trigger

There are more but my support person is completely overwhelmed (as am I).

Can anyone offer suggestions on where we should even start to look?

Thank you,

First, I'd question the location in the error message. You have two // marks after servername, that looks like an incorrect reference. That reference, if true, would be in the lower section of the Dynamics.set file. Correct the pathname to the dictionary if it is not correct. This error message is telling you that your Alternate/Modified Forms and Reports ID is pointing users to a modified form, but there is no corresponding forms dictionary in the location specified by the Dynamics.set file.

If you just want to clear any references to items that do not exist and stop the errors, run Administration | Utilities | System | Reconcile and select the Security Assignment Alternate/Modified Operations table.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie
