Power Automate Link Activity to Account (Regarding)

Hi All

I'm trying to copy fields from the Activity to Account table using Power Automate. In the legacy Workflow I can use Regarding(Account) as below but in Power Automate I cannot find a way to link Activity Record to Account

Hi,

If regarding field is not available under dynamic content then you can use expression to get the value.

Hi Samantha,

We can update the Account field from the Activities. As you shared the screenshot of the workflow which is triggering on the record creation and Modification of the Task entity. Please refer to the below screenshot which will help you to create the power automate flow for the same.

For example: In the below screenshot it will help you to update the Description field from the Task to the Description field of Account.

Retrieving the Account which is related to the Task.

Validating whether the related Account is present or not.

Updating the related Account’s Description field from the Task’s Description field.
