When I am developing in AX2012, I will often have several windows open at once (project, code windows, AOT, etc). Sometimes I need to look at one window while I am working in another.
However, the Tile option on the Windows menu tiles my windows vertically, that is, side by side. That cuts off the right side of the window, and makes it very difficult to type in a long line of code. I constantly have to scroll side to side to see the end of the line.
What I would like is to be able to tile my windows horizontally, that is, one above the other. I will get the full width of the window, and can then scroll up or down as needed.
Is there some setting, either through the AX Options window or some "hidden" setting, where I can control how the windows are tiled?
Thanks,

I have the same question (0)Nice question as per my standards to at least. We need to enhance the development experience. So i was looking to modify this window tiling algorithm for the following;
1.) Leave my property window in its layout
2.) Custom window tiling
Put forms to one side,
Tables on another
If window count exceeds a threshold, open new dev env and out the rest there
Can any1 bring insight about this ?
