We are switching CC processors and neither the bank nor my value added provider can tell me what information the location field is populated with. It appears as though we have all other information. This Is the 5 digit location number located in the administrator/configuration/EDC/advanced tab. Can anyone help?

Normally this is a store identifier. Or defaults to 00001 if not specified. Your merchant service provider can provide this. Please note your Merchant Service provider is not the same as your bank, even if you signed up with your bank, they contract that portion out to a company like First Data (aka FDMS).
