Choice Output values through Flow

Hi All,

I'm relatively new to using Flow and I have come across a really annoying issue with Choice values which I'm hoping someone can help.

Instead of passing the string value set within the Choice field an ID/Number is passed through. I have tested this on several standard fields to make sure the issue is not just from my customisations and it seems to be all Choice fields. I did speak with Microsoft support and they recommended using a Condition Action to set the output value based on the ID/Number. Does anyone else have an alternative solution to this? I tested the same scenario through Workflow and the output displayed the string value each time.
