    Hi,

it seems that Dynamics add-in has not been enabled for some reason?

There are some tips in the article below, but you might simply try to re-enable the add-in using Dynamics Diagnostics tool (search for "Diagnostics" in windows - it'll come up) - notice that "Enable" button on the screenshot:

Here is a link to that article I mentioned:

    8306.Capture3.JPGHi Alex,

Thanks for the reply. I wanted dynamics crm add in like the screenshot. I tried to customize the ribbon bar but could not find the command bar button.

you have to add it to outlook through D365 (CRM):  Settings:  Apps for Dynamics 365.   If you mailboxes are setup with server side sync then you should see a list of the available user.    If you go to this link, it steps you through it.

    Hi Paul,

I have installed the apps for dynamics 365 . I have enabled the server side synch. My problem here is i am not able to see all the features. I can only see the contact and account information in the app but not the recent activities or next activities.

Make sure in your server sync profile that you have it turned on for all three options.  It's possible you have the Activity sync turned to "Outlook Plugin" instead, which is not what you want, they all need to be set to "Server Sync" if you want the new Outlook App to manage them.

A couple of things to check.   Are you on the latest build of outlook.  You should be in the "Current Channel" and not the "Differed Channel" for office updates.  Currently the O365 outlook build  = 1703 which should have all the funcationatly available.   You can find this by going to outlook and clicking on file: Office Accounts.

Another thing to try is in D365, go to settings: administration: System Settings and click on the synchronization tab.  Then, click on "system filters" which will opena  new window and click on "synchorization fields"   These are the entities that sync to D365 app and outlook.  These are currently the only things that sync and at the moment you cannot add any others.

In the D365 app, you can track in the app to any entity (customer or standard) if the entity is set for mobile use and searchable.
