Error message when processing work flow

has anyone seen this error message when trying to process workflow? Trying to figure out a solution to get it through. All the lines on the PO are canceled. "The state of the source document or source document line could not be updated."

What Release and CU are you running? Is there more to the error message or another error that comes up with this message?

R3 is the release number and CU8
