On our purchase orders, we need the unit cost of the items to allow up to eight decimal places, I think GP only allows for five max. Is it possible to extend it and how? For our sales transactions, the item currency decimal place can be five decimal places.

No. Five decimals is the limit. Why do you need 8 decimals? Maybe there's another solution.
Thanks for the feedback. I do understand how to change the Item currency decimals using the Utility, but I cannot increase it beyond 5 decimal places. Is there a way to increase it beyond 5?
