Hi all,

I am planning to setup notifications to customers/prospects using workflows.

1. Create a Sales Quote

2. Release it

3. Send email notification to customers/prospects

4. Sales Quote gets approved/rejected

5. Receive notification

Can I setup non-NAV users in the Workflow User Group or Approval User Setup windows? What's the best approach to address this requirement based on your experience?

Hello,

You can setup workflows from template, that are already exist in RTC

Open RTC and search Workflows, choose related links and then click on "New workflow from Template"

I set it up. It was quite easy. One question still remains. Is there a way to send it to non-nav users? As it is now you can only do it with NAV users within your network. Thanks,

Let say you are a prospect, can I send an approval request and notification to your personal Hotmail/gmail account? Or your work email?

For that you need custom code, contact your partner/Developer.

Or

you can create a user without any permission, just put username, full name...

now you can create Approval user setup and give any email to this user.

But its not useful. he will get just mail, but if you are using template workflow then you have to approve. but this user not able to login, that means useless.
