SO Picking List Registration issue

Dear Experts,

I came across to this error message "Cannot update quantity XXXX with new dimensions" when tried to complete picking list registration for one of the SO.

I tried to cancel my picking list registration ... and received following error "Stock transactions are not supported for this posting." .

Same steps were done in our TEST environment with the same SO - register picking list & cancel, register & delete - works fine, where in LIVE environment after deleting the picking list we are no longer able to recreate new one. Picking list icon under SO is grayed out. (see file below)

We haven't changed any of parameters as far as I know in our LIVE environment ...

Any Suggestions are welcome

You cannot create the picking list because the registration is still open that you cannot delete. What happens if you register and post 0? Can you debug the deletion?

Managed to solve it.

I assume SO glitched when there was some changes done not while ago and on-hand stock report wasn't showing anything "on order".

Had to recreate SO Line to be able to register picking list and complete it.

Hi V,

This issue happens when you have already transaction with Physical reserved or marked with one specific set of dimensions and you choose different dimensions while picking. In this case you can directly navigate to packing slip and than pick from the line details and than proceed rest.
