I have installed GP10 and Integration manager 10 but while adding source I am not able to find the XML source adapter in the list. Can anyone help me how to add this XML source adapter in the list.

 Regards,

Sarath

Hi Sarah. You probably did not install the Source XML adapter in the first place. I have found that older Dynamics v10 CDs did not include this adapter in the installation. The latest media from Microsoft is a DVD that has all the installers in one media. That one will install the XML Source adapter. Check by using your current CD and install Integration Manager. You should get a box prompting you to choose from "Add/Remove features", "Repair" or "Remove". Try the "Add/Remove" option and see if you get the XML Source adapter as a yet uninstalled version. If you do not, then you need to get the DVD. Your Dynamics partners should be able to get you a new media. Hope it helps. Thomas. ICON - The premier Dynamics partner in the Caribbean

Hi again: Further to my response yesterday, here is the "official" response from Microsoft: --- The ability to use an XML source was not added until service pack 2 for IM version 10.0. Please download the latest Integration Manager service pack from PartnerSource or CustomeSource as appropriate. After you have applied the service pack and you are still not seeing the XML Source Adapter Available, you can read the “Adding the XML source adapter feature” in the IM SP 2 Install Guide for more information. I have also pasted part of the IM SP 2 Install Guide below for your convenience. Service Pack Two Instruction Guide: Adding the XML source adapter feature You can use the Modify Installation window to add the XML source adapter feature. You should make a complete backup of your data before adding or removing features. To add or remove additional features: 1.Start the installation wizard. You can use either of the following methods. • If you are using Windows® XP or Windows Server 2003, open the Add or Remove Programs control panel, and select Integration Manager for Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0. Click Change to open the Modify Installation window. —or— • If you are using Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008, open the Control Panel and double-click Programs and Features. Select Integration Manager for Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0. Click Change to open the Modify Installation window. 2. Click Add/Remove Features. 3. In the Select Features window, select Source Adapter – XML feature to install, and then click Next. 4. In the Ready to Install window, click Install. 5. The Installing Integration Manager window appears, where you can view the status of the installation. 6. In the Installation Complete window, click Exit.
