Real time Data Synchronisation

Hello Everyone,

In our company, we use Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP System. We do our e-commerce on three webshops - Mercateo, Bearing Net and our own webshop. I am looking for a real time data Synchronisation between the ERP System and our webshops. I would like to know if there is any feature available in the Design of Dynamics 365 Business Central?

Hello GR,

Thanks for your answer. I would like to clearly explain our Situation. Currently, we update the Data from our ERP System to our Webshops through BMECat Files. But, it is taking lot of time and sometimes prone to errors. This is not desirable. So, we are looking for a real time Data synchronisation/Integration from our ERP System to Webshops. For example, if a customer buys something on our Webshop, it must immediately reflect in our ERP System in the form of Sales order or a change in the Inventory. Similarly, if we update the prices or Data of any Item in our ERP System.... It must immediately reflect in our Webshops. These are some cases where we are looking for real time synchronisation solution.

So, could you please elaborate your answer considering this Behaviour?

Typically, this sort of integration would be done using APIs. Business Central has several out of the box APIs that can be used, and custom APIs can be created as well.

I think this is determined by the background processing method inherited by the third party. Your webshop should also be able to achieve real-time, but this will affect the performance. For example, if you change a quantity or unit price, a request will be initiated.

I suggest you contact your WebShop partner to see if it can be done in real time first.

Is there any suitable app from Microsoft's AppSource which adresses this problem? Actually, I am looking first for the options or Features which are in-built in this Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP System. If there is no possibility with any in-built feature, then obviously I will look for the external tools.
