Multiple Fields

Hi Guys,

I am trying to have multiple fields that would appear automatically. My scenario:

I have a Car Policy and I may have several transactions i.e: Renewal Cost, New policy Cost, When policy is adjusted there is additional cost too.

I wanted to have it all in one line per transaction and when there is new transaction to add on the bottom of first transaction:

For Example: Transaction type is an option Set (Text in Bold are values)

I have added Transaction type and other field on the same form, but as soon as field is used once it shows the same value in other field.

My apologies if my explanation is not good enough.

Transaction Type: -

Renewal

Amount: -

£500

Date: -

18/10/18

Amount Received: -

£400

Outstanding: -

£100

Transaction Type: -

Extra Premium

Amount: -

£150

Date: -

10/05/18

Amount Received: -

£150

Outstanding: -

£00

Many Thanks

    Hi,

What actually you want to achieve?

I want to have a list of fields in one Row & to be able to add more rows below with same fields if required.  Transaction type is a look up field which will differentiate the row.

    Hi,

I think you should create a custom entity called "Transaction" in this case and link to your current entity. So you can create multiple records.

Agree with Alex, you should have a custom entity called "Policy Transaction" with the common field such as Transaction Type, Amount Date, Amount Recieved etc. In addition to common fields, you also need to have a look field for the Car Policy entity.

You can then, on Car Policy entity, add a subgrid to "Policy Transaction" entity and then can add ass many transaction records as youw want.

    Hope this helps.
