    Hi Arpan

This is Microsoft explanations of the lot:

    https://technet.microsoft.com/EN-US/library/aa569635.aspx

I have personally a little experience with some of them and this is my findings:

Statement Cache – number of statement in the AOS cache but changing this could go both ways better or worse. It all depends on the queries. Love to hear someone that has a good experience from changing this.

Maximum Buffer Size - represents the amount of data (KB) that can be retrieved from the database to the AOS in one call. This means that if you query very large tables in terms of field and field types, one record will take up much of this buffer. This again leads to less records transferred in each trip to the database, leading to more trips.

Keep your tables small and remember to use field lists in you SELECT statements.

Minimum packet size to compress (in KB) – this is the level of data compressing between AOS and clients and is useful when working on low bandwidth or high latency networks. I cannot give you any numbers but it will lead to better use of the limitations in the network.

This should be tested and retested since there is an overhead in compressing.

Processor Affinity – is used to dedicate processor cores to certain AOS instances. If you have multiple processor cores and enough RAM in your server, you could have multiple instances of the AOS running and by using the Custom CPU setup dedicating the processor to each instance.

Hope that help at least a little.

    Thomas
