item cannot be deleted eventhough transaction is all cleared.(help)

hi, i want to delete an item that is already in a PO, but i have removed that particular item in the PO lines, and when i hit the manage inventory tab and press transaction button is all cleared. Yet when i tried to delete it, the following infolog still occured: 

"Items cannot be deleted while dependent Inventory transactions exist. Delete dependent Inventory transactions and try again."

    Dear Adrian,

    In AX there are to many table interconnected each other.First check does you assign any financial dimension to item which you want to delete.

    Please remove it and try to delete and if not than go to On Hand Inventory check on order and in order field should be none for that item.

    Hi Adrian,

    Like faiz7049 mentioned, check if you have financial dimension values based on item numbers. There might be some records in the InventSum table (on hand informaton) that could also block deleting the item.

    Hi,

       Apart from other replies,

       1. please check the delete actions with PurchLine table.

       2. do check in other purchase order lines may exits with the same item.

    Thanks, working fine after deleting actions with the PurchLine table in AOT.

    I've seen this happen if the purchase order is created and confirmed (po confirmation record created for that item). Even deleting the PO line and cancelling the purchase order will not resolve it. Just throwing that out there as a place to look if there is a record for that item not allowing the item to be deleted.
