Edit in Excel no longer working - Post BC v26.1

After updating from BC 25.5 to 26.1, the Edit in Excel is no longer populating the information when creating new batch.  Open in Excel is working.  To replicate within BC 26.1, open the Item Journals window, create new Batch Name ie TEST, enter a line completely and navigate to export icon to select Edit in Excel.  Enable Editing if prompted within Excel watching the status complete within the Data Connector window.  The first line of data does not transfer into Excel like previously in BC 25.5.  NOTE - Default batch works where the issue is unique to new batch.

Issue is able to be replicated in multiple 26.1 environments.

I have a client who is on BC v27 and when she exports to excel via the edit in excel function, she gets the above issue.
When I do the same process, I am able to connect the spreadsheet to BC. The user has the necessary permissions assigned.

Any reason as to why it works for me and not the user?
