Dear All,

Can you please let me know the Application Suite, Application Foundation and Application Platform these 3 are divided in separate category in Application stack?

For example :

If i select Application Platform only during creating a new Model then i will get all features like WorkFlow, SSRS ... which is belongs to Application Platform only.

Is't correct?

Please give me more shed on this.

    Hi,

    Yes. Workflow, Batch framework, SSRS Reporting, DIXF and mobile apps comes under Application Platform.

    Org Model and Source document under Application Foundation. What it's actually mean ?

    Hi,

    Application suite is the top-level model that contains code of basic functionality and Customers, partners, ISV uses this model to add/extend functionality. Application Foundation contains shared application code used by different modules like number sequence, source document format, number sequences and so on.

    Fleet management is a sample ISV solution for car-rental agency which serves as an example to showcase development and foundational capabilities.

    Source document means it's contained all source codes ? And in Org Model what it's contained?
