Pulling Point of Sale Restaurant Register data into Dynamics 365

i have a new restaurant client just getting started in MS Dynamics 365. What modules/features/functions would they need to load restaurant sales data into Dynamics for reporting and analysis purposes?

the data in question comes from a register daily to a csv file and contains, store number, date, item, breakfast/lunch/dinner sales and breakfast/lunch/dinner meal counts.

does dynamics support loading this type of data to the cloud system and database for analysis?

I see there is a POS module, but the restaurant owner has all POS in place. we just need to get the text data from the registers loaded to dynamics daily for each restaurant.

i understand the building of a csv or xlsx file that matches a data import template and running the import.
