Showing only notes/annotations on a form CRM Online 2013

Hi There,

Does anyone know if it's possible to only add notes to a form?

We seem to be stuck using the social pane that shows activities as well (which I don't want). I've also tried setting the notes to be the default tab on opening as a compromise but it doesn't seem to have any effect.

I'm primarily interested in this in relation to the quotes, offers and invoice forms.

Many thanks

    I don't believe there is a supported way to limit this.

    In conjunction with setting the default to Notes - you could add some JavaScript to the form's OnLoad event to hide the links to the items you don't want to see.

    Something like (uses jQuery):

    $("#notescontrol a[title='POSTS']").css('display', 'none');
    $("#notescontrol a[title='ACTIVITIES']").css('display', 'none')

    Hi Jason,

    Thanks for the reply. I did try hiding the tabs I didn't want, which works well. Unfortunately I can't get the notes to display as default.

    It's being set on the form to be the default display but I always get activities showing as default instead.

    Any idea why this might be?

    Thanks

    Dan
