Created an Investment project with no Customer attached and specified the project group as Investment. Created task and assigned resources thereby I could see the forecast in Project operations environment. However it stated the line property as "Chargeable". I am unable to find a set up where I can set the line property as non-chargeable either at the project level or a line level. Secondly how do I specify the Project type as Investment ? Third question is if I want to run an Estimate, the option for the same is disabled

Hi Merlyn,

Investment type projects are not yet available in Project Operations. It is on the roadmap.

At the moment you can create an internal project that posts to the P&L. You would need a workaround to acquire an asset through the project.

E.g. Post to P&L, review at month end and move costs using a GL journal to balance sheet account "Capex WIP". Once project is completed create asset acquisition journal in F&O to offset the capex amount in the Capex WIP account.
