How to add TransactionCurrency field in CRM custom entity

Hello,

I have created a custom entity which holds price. User want to enter price and select the respective currency symbol.

e.g. $ or eur 

It is available in Pricelevel entity.

How can I add TransactionCurrency in my custom entity?

    Hi Vijoy,

    Please create a custom field with data type currency. It will automatically add TransactionCurrency  in the entity.

    Hi vijoy,

    When we create a currency field for the first time, then additional two fields also gets created. One is “exchangerate” which is of type “Decimal”. And the other is transactioncurrencyid lookup field. Check for the screenshot below.

    Please note that these two additional fields are created only for the first time when a currency field in created for the entity. If we add another field, then from the next time onwards only that field is created.

    The TransactionCurrencyId refers to the currency that is used as the default currency for the application which is stored in the TransactionCurrencyBase Table.

    Hi, thanks for your reply.

    I have multiple unit fields on the same form. How can I consume transactioncurrencyid for multiple fields?
