"Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation" - CRM 4.0

Hi Team,

We are getting an Error "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation" on accessing Queues, Activities and child records from left navigation. All of sudden we observed this issue. 

We have tried Service restart, IISRESET but no use.

Please find below for more details on issue. Please suggest on this.

    Thanks for you response.

    The logs which I mentioned here from Web server Event viewer.

    We are going to enable the Traces to find out more on this. We will update once this activity done.

    Hi Prasad,

    There are various reasons for this error to happen, and I don't think there is an easy answer.

    Check the event viewer on your CRM Server to see if there is additional information.

    I would enable logging on the CRM Server and Tracing on the SQL Server to try and pinpoint the location of the problem.

    Also, since you are still on CRM 4, extended support has already ended by Microsoft on April of this year, so I am not sure you can get MS to help you on this issue:

    See if logging/tracing helps you, or possibly someone else has a better suggestion.
