Version 23.1 and issues with Power BI connector

Hi Friends,

Noticed that after updating the BC version to 23.1, we are unable to access General Journal table using Web Services (Legacy) for Power BI connector.

I am reciving following error message;

DataSource.Error: Dynamics365BusinessCentral: Request failed: The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request. (Specify a filter for the Journal Template Name field in the Gen. Journal Line table.  CorrelationId:  a6de04a5-cda2-42ff-943d-fa9e808a1cac.)Details:    DataSourceKind=Dynamics365BusinessCentral    DataSourcePath=Dynamics365BusinessCentral

Hope someone can share light on this issue.

Hi Sir,

For the error messages, could you please try to specify a filter for the Journal Template Name field in the Gen. Journal Line table.
Please check the Microsoft Document to build Power BI Reports to Display Dynamics 365 Business Central Data:

Hi Judy,

Thanks for your reply.

I tried adding the filter without success. Moreover, Power BI connector to Business Central doesn't pass filtered data.

Let me know should you have any other suggestion.
