NSF return check in Receivables Posted Transaction Maint.

Our company is new to Great Plains.  I am trying to post an NSF transaction.  I followed the notes that I have which are Sales/Transactions/Posted Transaction Maintenance.  Customer #, Doc Type = Payments.

When I click on the magnifying glass all that shows are the current invoices that are due.

I don't know what the problem could be.  None of the payments are showing. Any help is appreciated.

did you look in the customer inquiry screen to see if the payment has really been posted?

Thank you for using Community Forums. My name is Becky and I will assist you .

You are in the correct window to enter an NSF transaction. Enter the Customer ID and then change the Document Type to Payments. Press the lookup glass and the payment documents will be at the end of the documents. If you only want to see payment, you can press the down arrow by View. Do a Restricted List and place Document Type equals payments in the Search Receivable Transactions window.
