Error when creating vendor using Vendor Template

Creating a Vendor by clicking on New and selecting a Vendor Template and receiving the below error.

    This error typically occurs when the last number in the vendor number series is manually changed. For example, vendor V00075 might have been created previously, which also created a corresponding contact. However, if the vendor was later deleted and the last number in the number series was altered to reuse that vendor number, creating it again will cause the system to find the existing contact.

    To resolve this issue:

    • If the contact (e.g., CT001908) is no longer needed, delete it.
    • Alternatively, in the contact card, remove the business relation with vendor V00075.
    • If the number series last number was manually changed, revert it to avoid reusing the same number again.

    Hello,
     
    As per shared error message, it seems that in some moment you have created a Vendor Card which has consumed the Nos Series that you are using while creating new Vendors Cards.
    The problem is at the time a new Vendor card is inserted system is also creating the Vendor Contact card, which by the error message is already associated to a different Vendor and process of new Vendor fails at this stage.
     
    I would suggest to check the Last Vendor Card you have already created in system and check the Nos Series that you are using on Vendor creation.
    The last Vendor that  exist in system must be the Last number that system have used on No Series for Vendors cards.
     
    I would say that this is the issue cause, and to overpass it you need to manually update Nos Series Last number with the Last Vendor Card you have on Vendors Master Data.
    Once you have fixed this you can go ahead and create the new Vendor card.
