Problem with embedded Power BI reports

Hello experts! 
I have a problem with starting embedded Power BI Reports in BC. When I want to open the wizard, I can't fill in basic data such as Calendar Type. The field is not editable in the wizard and later on the page PowerBI Connector Setup. 



Additionally, when I want to run the report, after entering the appropriate power bi app in the appropriate PowerBI Connector Setup tab, I get the message:


And the app itself disappears from the Power BI Connector Setup form.
Did you have similar problem? The version of BC is 25.5.

    This issue has surfaced frequently in BC 25.5 and is tied to how the Power BI Reports extension interacts with the setup wizard and connector page.

    Here’s what’s happening and how to resolve it:

     

    1. Calendar Type Field Is Locked

    • The Calendar Type field in the wizard and Power BI Connector Setup page is non-editable by design
    • It’s auto-populated based on the selected Power BI Finance Report
    • If no valid report is selected or the app registration fails, the field remains blank and locked

    2. Power BI App Disappears After Selection

    • This typically indicates a failed authentication or app registration issue
      • Common causes include:
      • Missing Power BI Pro license
      • Incorrect environment or tenant ID
    • Expired token or cached credentials
      • Try the following steps:
      • Clear cached Power BI credentials in BC
      • Re-authenticate by removing and re-adding the Power BI app
    • Confirm that the app is published to the correct workspace and accessible by your user

    3. Known Issues in BC 25.5

    • Microsoft has acknowledged several issues with embedded Power BI reports in BC 25.5, especially around personalization and setup conflicts
    • If you’re unable to personalize or bookmark pages like the Power BI Connector Setup, it may be due to namespace conflicts introduced by the extension
    • Temporary workaround: uninstall the Power BI Reports extension, then reinstall after setup is complete

    I have never encountered this problem. Is the latest version of Power BI app installed?
    There are currently two types on the market, one is after BC26.2, and the other is before. Please make sure you have the correct apps installed first.
    The second reason may be a licensing issue.
