Execute Job in Production environment

Hello experts,

I was wandering if there is a simple way to execute Runnable class (job) in Production environment in D365 for Operations. Do I have to go through the whole procedure with Deployable package, Service request etc. Or is there a faster and simpler way?

Possibly you can use the Open in Excel option or data import to update field values. I know there are sometimes some more complex or not supported scenarios where you could indeed think of update_recordset.

Thank you for the quick answer, André.

It seems a bit like an overkill to me since I just want to execute a simple update_recordset command. Anyway I could be very easily wrong :)

You have to use the procedure of deployable packages. There is no other way.

Microsoft wants to be sure that every code change has been tested carefully first.
