Dear all,

Below I would like to share the steps I used to get SureStep projectwizard working on our SharePoint Online environment.

Instructions on how to deploy on SP2010 Onprem are found in manual, but as info on deploying on SPO is not mentioned in the manual please find those steps below.

1) Download SureStep projectwizard from PartnerSource (see https://mbs.microsoft.com/customersource/global/SureStep/downloads/service-packs/MSDSureStepOnlineDownloads)

2) Choose 'download file to enable Surestep Online project wizard'

3) Unzip the file, you should end up with an .xap file

4) Go to your SharePoint site which you would like to use as a rootsite

5) Upload the .xap file to a library, copy the URL

6) Edit page, add a Silverlight webpart, paste the url you just copied as the source for the webpart

7) Save & close the page (optional: set the dimenions of the webpart to fixed height/width - 670x600 pixels works)

8) Launch the SureStep project wizard to create a projectsite based on the characteristics of your project (diagnostic, implementation etc)

Enjoy the SureStep wizard in SharePoint Online!

Regards,

Martijn

The download link ends with a bracket ")". After removal of this the link works fine.

And offcourse after login through PartnerSource.

    Hi Martijin.

I've tried this several times, and it appears that that SharePoint will not let me upload a .xap file.  My step 5) fails, and I get the message:

SureStepProjectWizard.xap "Sorry, your files couldn't be uploaded. The upload might be too large or the server might be experiencing high network traffic."

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Steve
