WHS consolidate shipments is not working if Sales orders are linked to projects ?

we have a scenario where sales orders for the same customer should be combined into one shipment. 

I have set the warehouse parameter to consolidate loads and I have setup a shipment consolidation policy.

if I create 2 SO's for the same customer, these SO's are combined into one shipment after release. So the settings seems to be fine.

BUT.....

If i create 2 SO's for the same customer from (different) projects, these SO's are NOT combined into one shipment ! 

And that is just the scenario i have to implement...

    Hi Henk,

    I'm not aware of any limitation for shipment consolidation policy when using project.

    Please open a ticket with Microsoft support to report this issue.

    Hello Henk,

    I had tested this earlier and what we are seeing here it could be limitation or potential bug.

    I tried checking the Consolidation policy, but that do not have any field which could enable consolidation check on Project ID, however, while we test for 2 Sales order on any 1 project it gets consolidated.

    Troubleshooting this would require extensive investigation.

    I would suggest opening ticket with Microsoft Support for further investigation.
