    Hi Ranjan,

Have you installed any KB or windows update on server? Or any .Net Update? If any, uninstall it and check.

Also please check your server's kernel version and client kernel version. Sometimes this error is coming due to kernel mismatch.

Kernel should always be updated with latest version.

    Hi Ranjan,

Can you verify if the new code was related to the scenario as described by Nikolaos?

SysLastValue is not cleared when you deploy new code. It would not make sense to always clear all selections etc just because of code deployment.

If you customize RunBase based classes, you must change the CurrentVersion in the class declaration if you have added new vaariables in the CurrentList. This will cause the system to ignore outdated SysLastValue of users. Otherwise users will get runtime errors.

Agreed but in PROD , we can't upgrade quickly and again it time consuming and investment required.

    Hi Andre,

This issue was caused after moved the new code into PROD as our deployment process and some user post the delivery note and sales invoice and AOS are getting crashed.  we did following steps

    • Cleaning CIL cache.

    • Truncated SysAppAssembly, SysClientSessions, SysServerSessions.

    • Temp folders.

    • AUC files (both on servers and on Clients)

    • Full X++ & CIL compilation.

    • Database synchronization.

    but no luck.

After that we delete the SysLastValue for all users (classes only) after that AOS crashed are getting stopped.

I have one question why system is not refreshed the SysLastValue and its looks like SysLastValue  is referring the old caches of  salesformletter related class and caused the issue.

please add your input if pssoble.

    Regards,

    Ranjan

When I comfirm the link below I think you are not using the latest version of AX 2012 R3.

Could you confirm the same crash can be reproduced in the latest version? If possible, update your environment to the latest version and see if that fixes the problem!

    Hi Ranjan,

Did it work correctly in the past? If so, can you try to find out what could have been changed in the environment? Did you do any new customizations or applied Windows updates?
