How to make only active accounts available in global search?

Hello CRM experts,

Right now, when we use the global search in the top right of Dynamics CRM both active and inactive accounts show up as results. I would like only active accounts to show up, as both are cluttering the user experience. I assume this is a quick fix, but can seem to figure out how. Any chance someone can help?

In here you should figure out how to add the filter.

Hi,

Global search use Quick view to find set of record, bydefault quick view only have criteria to include active records only but it seems someone has changed this criteria to show inactive records as well in your environment, you can go to solution and edit quick find view for the respective entity and check view criteria if it is also checking status equals to inactive delete it and publish your entity.

Make sure it only contains active criteria like below:
