winmail.dat instead of PDF (AX 2009)

Hi, we use standard system to send reports via e-mail to our customers. But, many of them receive file named winmail.dat instead of PDF. We use MS Outlook 2007 clients to send reports. On server side (MTA) we have Postfix 2.7 Stable. How we can fix this problem ?

    We have the same problem. It's because the emails are being sent in Rich Text format (despite our Outlook clients being set to not use this format).

    Haven't found out why - hope you get an answer here!

    Thanks but it does'nt work anymore...

    That is strange because the same mail is correctely receive in a gmail address and not on a orange address...

    Try taking outlook out of the picture:

    alexondax.blogspot.com/.../how-to-send-emails-from-ax-without.html

    It seems to come to the call of mapi.resolvename() in the method 'resolveEmail' of the class SysInetMail (AX 2009).

    If i comment this line, my mail arrived with a pdf attachment...

    it does not seem essential, but I would not want to change the heart of the system...

    if it gives ideas to someone.
