When I install the CRM 2011 Outlook client and run the configuation wizard, I can connect to CRM but only the first time. When I shut down Outlook and restart it, I get the dreaded error message :
"Cannot connect to Microsoft Dynamics CRM server because we cannot authenticate your credentials. Check your connection or contact your administrator for more help."
If I go into the crm configuration wizard and delete the organization and restart Outlook, the wizard runs again and I can connect to CRM, but again, only once.
This is the behavior I get when using the French language pack. If I change the user's CRM Outlook options to English, the configuration works every time I restart Outlook. If I change the user's language settings back to french, I have to delete the organization again.
Any ideas ? I'm in the final steps of a client install and pulling my hair out on this one !

I have the same question (0)Hi Paul,
In order to assist you with this, can you please confirm the following information for me?
- Are you using the UR6 build 1992 version of the CRM client?
- Which Update Rollup and MUI Packs do you currently have installed on the client?
- Did you install any of the MUI Packs prior to the client itself?
Also, if you choose to uninstall and reinstall the client, I would also recommend uninstalling the Windows Live Sign-in Assistant and Microsoft Online Services Sign-in Assistant prior to reinstallation in case either of these necessary applications are playing a role in the issue.
