There is RTC and then there is NAV Development Environment. Open that and follow the steps I have mentioned.

    Thank you for the response.

I do not find anywhere developement environment option, hence cannot find what you mentioned:

"If the  liscense table includes records like Solution Developer, Dev Module then it is a Developer liscense."

I have accessed About Microsoft Dynamics NAV from Role center page,

    Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017

    Version DE Dynamics NAV 10.0

(DE here i assume is Deutschland(Germany))

Go to Development environment, click Tools > Liscense Information.

If the  liscense table includes records like Solution Developer, Dev Module then it is a Developer liscense. If you do not have a developer lisence uploaded then it will not allow you in design mode and will ask you to contact system Administrator.

Please select Yes if I answered your question.

Seems that you want to customize your role center with some of the custom table, in that you need to have a Developer License, and its not easy to get it, Please consult with your Partner.

If you think my answer is relevant to you, please select Yes if I answered your question.

    Cheers

Im not sure if im doing it right. But what i am exactly trying to do is to know and understand and customize navision dashboard. I have read that we can make customized tables and get its visualization on the role center. I am trying to create a table which i dont know how to do. i tried to access the already available tables but no success.

If you are a developer then go to Development environment and check if you are able to Enter in the code of any object after importing the License.

If you are a Business User please consult with your Partner.

    Cheers
