Purchase invoice VAT

Hi All,

I have a requirement when the purchase invoice posted the VAT account should be debited with VAT unpaid as GL entry and when the invoice paid this should be reversed to VAT unpaid credit and VAT paid account should be debited. How to achieve this in BC.

The first step you mentioned can be done through the following settings.
But as far as I know, BC does not have a VAT account setting after payment, so it cannot be done by standard, and this needs to be customized.

Hello,

In Business Central, this VAT treatment - where the VAT Unpaid account is debited at invoice posting and reclassified to VAT Paid upon payment is not available in base functionality. To achieve this, a customization is required.

User informed, this is standard functionality in any ERP system in Mexico. Have any of you done this in Mexico BC.
