Estimated costs in WBS

Posted on by 30

Hello Guys

I'm using AX 2012 R3 . I have set up cost and sales price in project.

When I assign resource in WBS , estimated cost and revenue on line details are not generated (cost price and sales price are 0)

I need to assign multiple resource in WBS

Is there any way to do it and generate correct cost on estimated cost detail ?

    Hi Christoph

i agree with you but in my case i have to assign multiple resource with different Cost and sales price.

In WBS , on line details i can assign only one worker or if a task need more resources with different costs , i have to put the average of resource costs

Is there anyway to do it ?

    Best Regards

    Hi Mekki Yorsa.

I did a quick check on a standard contoso like in your example. As you can see it works as expected. Do you have any modifications in that area?

    Hello Mekki Yorsa,

Can you share some screenprints about your setups and the issue in WBS?

Have you double checked the validity dates of the cost and sales prices to ensure that this is not a date related issue?

Also, have you refreshed the form and published the WBS?

Would be great if you could provide more information.

    Many thanks and best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi,

May you describe more details where you entered the prices and on what level. There are multiple options like price per employee, category, role,...

Maybe you can add screenshots of the example.
