Commerce localisation for Eastern Europe Common

Hi,

A bit of a strange question!

There is a Common localisation for Eastern Europe within Commerce that covers a number of ISOs  - Poland, Hungary, Czech republic etc.

Romania is not in the list for the functionality; working on a project in Romania where we would like to use the this Common functionality.

Does anyone know how we go about requesting Romania to be added to this Common functionality?

The local Microsoft office aren't being helpful on defining the process.

Thanks in anticipation....

    Hi Alan,

Microsoft does not support localization for Romania, and it is not in our backlog list currently.

Unfortunately, you will have to use what is available in the core functionality or to implement a customization.

    Thanks Shafeeque.

Yes we have already tested with this as a logic using POL and found that the functionality is basically in line with requirements.

The business is quite large (biggest retailer in Romania) and is looking for a more "inclusive" solution; ideally with Microsoft adding Romania to the Common list.

Not a recommended work around, but worth a try. It worked for me for another  localization. If you don't have Romania specific localization, you can try updating Poland ISO code to Romania country setup and see if it works. You can also try playing with the localization in functionality profile, it is POS related.
