Hi,

I have a client who wants to move company data from a subscription in  US to their subscription in DK.

so they need to copy the company in to the Danish tenant (SAAS).

in older versions you could import and export navdata.

is this not possible now and what to do then?

Best regards,

Michael

    Hi,

NAVDATA is not available for SaaS.

You need to use Rapidstart: docs.microsoft.com/.../admin-migrate-customer-data

or open a support request with Microsoft to transfer environment to another tenant.

Hi, This can be done by contacting Microsoft support.

    Hi Zhu,

Do you know if this moves only the environments or companies? Is there a way to move just the companies within that environment, that is not through RapidStart or Custom Tools?

    Thanks,

    LF

Hi, if you are talking about the SaaS version, unfortunately, as far as I know, there is no good way so far. If you are inside the same Tenant and need to move the environment, you can use the Copy feature in Admin Center.

    More details: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/dev-itpro/administration/tenant-admin-center-environments-copy

You can not move a company between one regional version to another automatically because the data model is likely to be different in the two regions when it comes to localization.

Static data you can move using configuration packages or XML ports.

Transactional data i recommend you export from the UK version and post again in the DK version to make your data consistent with the regional version your are moving to.
