MO Saved -- Picklist Built?

Hi:

After creating an MRP Sales Forecast in a test company, I ran MRP Regeneration.

Then, I used the MRP Workbench to create a Manufacturing Order (MO) proposed by the Sales Forecast.  It was an "MMO", according to MRP Quantities Query.  There was a yellow exclamation point, because the Release Date of 09/11/2025 was before the Due Date of 10/01/2025.  In other words, the Release Date was past due.

Anyway, after opening that MO, I chose to close it.  When prompted whether to save, I chose to save.

Subsequently, I received a message saying that the Picklist couldn't be built as something was "in use".  Perhaps, the BOM was in use.  I don't know.

Next, I went to the Purchasing Request Resolution window to create Purchase Orders (POs).  Doing so automatically created two Purchase Orders.

First of all, that message that I received about the Picklist sounds like I need to access one of the "Security" windows that you find in the "Manufacturing Transactions" area for deleting a security record.

So, how do I know which security window to open for deleting such a record?

Secondly, how do I know for sure that these two POs were related to that MO?  Yes, each PO contained one of the two Components of the MO's BOM.  But, again, how do I know for sure?

Thanks!

John

    MO Saved -- Picklist Built?
Based on the Question as per my analysis you are working on Microsoft GP, here is the suggested answer which i would recommend

First unlock the security on MO, as below path :

    GP-Tools-Utilities-Manufacturing-Manufacturing Security

Will show all the Current active security records, find your user id and MO Number or BOM Transaction Reference
Select the Record under click on Delete or Remove and close the window this will refresh and unlock the BOM or MO, so accordingly we can regenerate the picklist again.

Hope this will resolve the issue and accordingly you can rerun MRP based on pegging qty.
