Automatic display of Attributes in an Item Attributes Page

Hi Members,

I request you to provide me a solution to the problem that I am currently facing.

Is there any possiblity to display all the Item Attributes of an item automatically, so that it becomes convinent for the user to add only the values alone for the Item's Attributes? Currently, the Attributes of an Item can only be added to the Item Attribute's page manually, that too one by one. It becomes tedious for the user if in case the count of the Item's Attribute is more. So I look for an alternative way like displaying the attributes of an Item in the Item Attributes page as soon as I click the Item --> Atttributes --> Item Attributes Page.

Please suggest me an alternative way or the exact solution for the problem that I am facing.

Thanks and Regards,

Saravanan

    Hi,

You have customization this field's Table relation property and have to write the code onLookup trigger so that It show that page separately.

    [not recommended]

I am not sure why you are looking this solution, as per the standard system it should be in Tablerelation property so that you can choose one value at a time.

    Thanks.

Are you using the Item attribues fact box on the item card?

That makes it much easier to maintain the attributes.

    Thank you Nitin,

In our scenario we have arround 20+ attributes which has to be selected by the user. So each time they have to select the attributes through dropdown and then enter the attribute's value. In this case, user might miss some of the attributes while selecting the dropdown. As a work around, If we show all the Item Attributes while opening the window, it becomes convinent for the user to fill in the values alone.

Is there a way to achieve this..?

We can allow them to show a new Page instead of Drop Down, it will pop up Item Attribute page, but again user has to select and open that page many times, like its working in Drop down.

    Thanks.

Is there a relationship between your item categories and attributes?

If not, could there be if you re-thought your item categories?

Attributes can be defaulted from the item categories. If you use a hierarchical category structure, you can assign a complex array of attributes by simply assigning one item category to a product.
