Hello,

I'm using Microsoft Dynamics AX R3, I have two products, each product hast its own fixed location, when the replenishement is generated i have always the same location of putting? my question is : for a work of replenishement of many products, the putting location is always the same? we can't have a putting location by product?

Dear Julia,

There are three methods we can distribute products as Replenishment rules, Location weight and Fixed quantity, Are you using these methods for distribution?

If yes, try with Replenishment Rule method of distribution, transfer orders will be created for each store product location that belongs to the Replenishment Hierarchy

You would create multiple location directives, 1 per product, for replenishment, and use the Advanced query and filter by the Item number or whatever other criteria you need.

Then on the location directive actions you specify the locations where the items could be put.

I can't specify the item number for a putting location directive, it's not possible with the advanced query! can you explain me more your solution please?

@Keerthana Chandran: I'm not using transfer orders for replenishement, I want to do it with waves of replenishement.

Right, sorry.

You should be able to create multiple location directives depending on the replenishment template, and in the replenishment template setup them per product (group). That should work, I think.

Hi Julia,

You can setup Fixed locations for items. Warehouse management > Setup > Warehouse setup > Fixed locations. On the location directives (actions) you can select if you want to use only the fixed locations.

It is possible to setup multiple fixed locations for the same item/warehouse combination. I have not tested this, but you could try to use location profile 'Bulk' for receiving goods and one with 'Pick' for the replenishment.

Hello,

unfortunately it doesn't work :(, I'm sure there's a detail that escapes me, are there a setting in the management of warehouses to review it for replenishement?
